Chapter 158:
Nice development for Shiemi, both relationship and character. And finally, I would say. And Izumo was extremely adorable in her support, too.

Like... Why? I seriously do not get the point of these shorts. They did not explore much (if anything) about Wakanda. They seemingly did not expand MCU either. They just forced people from Wakanda into various time periods and locations, where they may or may not make any sense. Especially with the interpretation of Trojan War in 2nd episode. Which is, indeed, the strongest episode of the 4.…
Meh. A spin-off, that's supposed to be funny, I guess, but first few chapters had abundance of toilet and generally childish jokes. Some may enjoy this, I guess, but this is not for me.
Not my cup of tea. At the least I do not get it, why you would want to hide the relationship at work. You would need to be careful to not overexpose it, like avoid kissing and touching in certain ways while at work, for sure, but there is not much point in completely hiding it. Gossip? People will gossip regardless of that. In fact, if they notice something, they can start gossiping even more.…
This was the game that forced me to do first ever upgrade in my first PC. It required Shaders 2.0 or something like that and my GPU did not support those. I did not know that, though, so was very surprised, when I saw just black screen instead of the game. Had to ask parents for more money. Spent a lot of time in this game back in the day and decided to replay it now, thinking "it probably could…
1st episode was kind of meh, although had some stylish moments. 2nd one was way better and it felt like it was delivering the feeling of proper weight of things (physical and not). 3rd one was again meh for like... 95% of the time. Looks stylish, I can give it that, but... I do not see anything serious behind that, at least nothing that would hook me. Especially, considering very uneven pacing. It…
Is this another BL this season? And with an age gap at that? Although, I guess,Hikaruis technically older than Yoshiki, too. Or am I reading too much into it? I mean, it's clear that one of the themes would be about Satomi working through his natural body changes, especially voice, so it can end up being wholesome. Giving it a chance to see how they plan to develop things further.
One thing to…
Is it just me or 1st episode felt very rushed? Even when it slowed down towards the end, when focus somewhat shifted to Gojo, and had opportunity for some psychological stuff, it still felt too fast to me. Like, the episode probably meant to be 10 minutes longer, or maybe the Halloween party should be in 2nd episode.
Episode 3:
Wouldn't they stop the concert after 1 song because of her voice? Why would they continue when something was clearly wrong?
Watching this in Japanese feels wrong. Gonna try once more with English dub.
I repeat: was it really needed?
Same as withLilo & Stitch, it's not a bad movie, but it does not add anything to the story, characters or the world. And again, it's good in a sense, that they did not butcher the original, so people who did not see it, will probably enjoy it about the same. But it was not necessary. And arguably, even less necessary than Lilo & Stitch, because it suffers from…
That's quite a good first episode. I really like that it started with 2 parallel stories, that are now connecting. Not just that, even within those stories there are already branches, and they will be intertwining, for sure. Doubt there will be something that will blow my mind away, but if they can keep the same level of quality of the narrative, it may just be good enough.
What was the show even about? I barely remember anything from it, and I watched all of the episodes today. Nothing bad stood out, which is good, but I do not remember any names, I was mixing up some of the faces, and I remember only a couple of events in the whole show. It certainly had the atmosphere of a... What do they call it? "Rural"? Yeah, I think that's the word: "rural" town. Maybe the…
It was stupid of me to expect anything good from this. It was obvious, that it will be horny instead of brain, but for some reason I hoped that there will be some logical, if not necessarily realistic, explanation of why the island in this anime is a state of constant orgy. Yeah... There is none. It's just "promotion of debauchery". Which ignores not only the fact, that majority of people are not…
Episode 3:
Not sure I get it how the boy being a sacrifice made his ghost being seen by other boys result in adults' suicides. I feel like there is a step missing there. Also don't get it where Okarun got the sudden power up in 3rd episode, it felt a bit forced. But more importantly, why does this keep reminding me of Uzumaki?
Felt inconsistent. The beginning of 1st episode had some random pop song playing over infiltration sequence, and felt out of place. Used comic bubbles earlier in the 1st episode, as well, but then seemingly stopped using those. Which is, probably, good, because they also felt out of place, but why even bother with them, if you are not going to use them consistently? It also feels like Gear and…
Trash. At least in terms of story, which is very generic and uninspiring. Both MC and his father were annoying, I did not want to root for them in the slightest, because they did not even show any good qualities. The "demon form" is something between one of the Naruto's 9-tails forms and Carnage from Marvel Comics, but it's generating firearms instead of sharp objects. It looks ok, until you…
Madoka, the musical? It has some Madoka Magica vibes, for sure. Maybe a little bit of Franxx, but reversed (since girls control boys) and mixed with Pokemon (since those boys are not human, at least). The music is good, but songs are not really the focus, since they do get cut in ways, that make them feel incomplete and a side-dish. But what's the main one? No idea. Even though I watched the 0-…
This one seems to be forcing a concept harder thanmathematic cooking. Only this time it does not make much sense. During the teleportation girls' bags were not moving towards the ball or towards the... Wherever the ball was going. Then after the teleportation (which somehow separated Rina, but that's just a trope, I guess), there were several occasions when the girls moved some distance without…
I get what they are going for, but the concept seems too forced. Yes, cooking is about math, in a way, since chemistry is about math, and we hadLessons in Chemistry, that used similar concept. But I am not buying this BS about the guy dreaming to be a mathematician, and then suddenly just stopping. Not that it can't happen IRL, it probably can, but would require more build-up. Besides failing on…
If they have time for a remake, why not spend it on new season of Noragami? Otherwise felt kind of meh, and I am not a fan of the faces here.
Looks cute, but premise feel stupid. Bocchi cuts her hair and thinks now she has become a normie (what does that even mean), and then becomes the point of another girl's affection. And they decide to date... But not date? Sometimes friends, sometimes lovers... This does not make sense, unless "lovers" means "sexual partners", which does not seem to be the case. Why it does not make sense? Because…
Till around middle of the season I was feeling like they dropped the original concept. I thought, that 1st season was about something else entirely. But then actual poker was mention, and it hit me: I was confusing it with "Russian Doll", which has same lead actress with quite similar (not the same) personality. Otherwise, I think it's more of the same. The way overarching plot is presented is…
