It has style, I'll give it that, but aside from it it feels not only annoying, but also unrealistic. I get the trust issues that Sakura has, and that it will be the whole point to change his perception of the world through-out the series, but it feels like it's the whole and only thing that the show has to offer in terms of narrative. Which could be fine, but I simply can't believe this "delinquents everywhere" world, let alone "we are the good delinquents" pitch. I could buy it in Beelzebub, since it had magic, so it already made requirement of things to be realistic, and it was also an over-the-top comedy. Wind Breaker, though, presents itself as a story "with depth", and I do not see it. But maybe I am expecting too much.
