I think the concept is not as thought-through as the author might have expected. For starters, the girl is awfully chipper if she remembers all wins and all game overs. If she does remember them, she should have realized that there was a loop, at least, and most likely died multiple times (since game overs were mentioned). The vibe also starts to feel off when we are told they are actually "evil". How can they be "evil" but loves peace and harmony? And even wastes what little mana he has on generating abundance of food (with pears looking like yellow apples instead of actual pears). Does not work for me, and feels like a wasted opportunity. I mean, even that reincarnated demon lord in high-school (with grey-haired twins) was a much more interesting character, even though he was not truly evil. Same as that reincarnated demon-lord who became a streamer.
