Boring. Probably even worse than the previous movie, or at least as boring as that one. It probably should have been like 40 minutes, at best, an OVA, rather than a movie. In terms of story it also did not do much, and did not explain anything, unlike previous movies and seasons. While I get some guilt that Sakuta "forgot" his mother in 2 years, it seems stupid to trigger the syndrome. Especially, since it does not make sense that his mother did not see him, but his father and sister did, and then next day no one saw him. I think with Mai it was much more gradual. Let alone the fact that there was this weird scar and little Mai. Maybe they will be explained in next season? But then was the whole point of the movie to show us the weird delayed group cry and cliffhanger for that season in the very end? Disappointing, all I am saying.
