Madoka, the musical? It has some Madoka Magica vibes, for sure. Maybe a little bit of Franxx, but reversed (since girls control boys) and mixed with Pokemon (since those boys are not human, at least). The music is good, but songs are not really the focus, since they do get cut in ways, that make them feel incomplete and a side-dish. But what's the main one? No idea. Even though I watched the 0-episode (or prologue, or whatever you want to call it), and that did seem to share some of the context, I did not really understand what was happening in the first episode. Perhaps you need to play the game to get it? Then it's just another failure with adapting a game to anime. Which is not surprising.
