Till around middle of the season I was feeling like they dropped the original concept. I thought, that 1st season was about something else entirely. But then actual poker was mention, and it hit me: I was confusing it with "Russian Doll", which has same lead actress with quite similar (not the same) personality. Otherwise, I think it's more of the same. The way overarching plot is presented is different, especially, since you learn that it exists, practically, in the last episode, but approach to story-telling in individual episodes is still good. And they did try to, kind of, change the rules even. Not sure I am particularly excited for a 3rd season, but probably will still watch it.
Special shout-out for use of The Prodigy music in episode 6. They way it mashed with the kids was just superb.
