Everything feels... Off.
I am not talking about the siscon part of it. Or rather, I am talking about that as well, but that part is, at least, a known phenomenon. This kind of toxic co-dependence usually happens between a parent and a child, but not necessarily. Parent forgets about themselves (or about their ego, if you will), revolving only around their child, while the child is scared to lose the parent, and intentionally does things in a way, that will force the parent to stick around more. This does not bring anything good to either party, and it's good that the show acknowledges this right away, and tries to break this relationship, and in a... "OK" way. Not the best, probably, but tolerable.
all other interactions also feel weird, though. I can't put my finger on what exactly makes them weird. They feel... Unnatural. Like, do humans interact like this with each other? It's not like this problem is unique to this show, of course, there are others that have moments of unnatural communication between characters, but here it feels over-encompassing. Everyone looks too stiff and too aloof at the same time, as if everyone is hiding something. It probably would work in some spy or assassin show, but not sure it works here.
Also, what exactly is going to collapse, as the title implies? His asshole? English translation of the title has too many asterisks.
