Too much stuff stuffed seems to be stuffed into this show, so much that stuffing is about to fall out. And I probably missed some other things, like something about the MC being a delinquent, for example. And half a Kaiju. But regardless of that, felt kind of "meh". Did not hook me, did not make me feel anything for any of the characters. This is more like my earlier attempts in writing a book, which were, in a sense, trying to combine stuff from various media I liked at the time.

To clarify: I am not against mixing stuff, it's just that the way the show is presented, it throws *everything* at you at once, which makes me feel that the world the author is building is not really cohesive. Or at least it's not presented in a cohesive way. Like, it's not something "standalone" (as in "standing on its own") that coincidentally has features of some other works (which is totally fine), but rather like a... Gacha of tropes from other stuff. Like Beavis and Butthead in Call of Duty or whatever. Or like early websites that had tons of bright colors and effect. WordArt, where you applied all effects at once. The complex mixture of things might have worked if it was gradually introduced within 2 or maybe even 3 episodes, but this is "we will throw everything at them, maybe something will stick".
