I was thinking, that FINE will not be getting back to me at all, but they finally did. They shared a letter on 11 pages. The crust of it is "everything is fine":
Which does not really resolve anything for me, because I was not even arguing the denial of deposit, but rather the threat of denial of depositing, that is all future deposits, as well. Considering that it took a frigging year to get to just this point, and I was able to deposit 100 euros earlier this year and there still have been no concerns from the bank, I am not going to pursue this any more, since it will be just a waste of time.
But... If any reasonable person from OP or any other bank will read this: there needs to be a better flow. As it has been pointed out by me, trust is a two-way street, and giving a client a benefit of a doubt based on their past activity history and them coming to you beforehand and openly seems kind of logical. There definitely should be process to prevent abuse of "benefit of a doubt", but I am sure something can be figured out. I am open to discuss possible ways to do that, so feel free to ping me.
