Episode 11:

I just have to say that the "curse" does not make sense to me still. Maybe it will be explained better later, but so far it feels... Illogical, I guess. When it was explained originally I thought it meant that when you move from 1 layer to an upper one - you get those symptoms, and then that if you move through multiple layers at once (or in short period of time) - you symptoms worsen. Kind of like decompression sickness.

But there have been multiple situations, when even very slight elevation was depicted to be causing the symptoms. And the whole "shock" of episode 10 is that Reg pulled Riko up too high up and too fast. Although, it would be a maximum of 40 meters, which would be a lot under water, but would it be the same under air? I mean, 40 difference of air pressure is, probably, still considerable, but would that cause lungs to collapse?

At least, that's why I think Riko stopped breathing, because nothing else would make sense. Although giving mouth-to-mouth is unlikely to to "uncollapse" a collapsed lung, let alone 2. And if she stopped breathing because of internal bleeding (which the bunny claimed for some reason), then mouth-to-mouth would have helped even less. Speaking of bunny: where did she get surgery skills? And why would she treat poison anally, and not through injection (even if in the butt, although if the poison is in the blood, intravenous injection would make more sense)? We probably need to get Doctor Mike here for clarifications.

But even if I ignore all that, why are there no common routes, if based on what other characters have said travelling to layers up to 5 is relatively common (for higher-level whistles)? I mean, why did they have to travel blindly through those caves on layer 3? Which, BTW, should not have any vegan lifeforms, since it does not look like it has much vegetation. And why did Ozen need to be such a bitch?

These little inconsistences or more like illogical things do bother me. But not enough to not continue watching.
