If "Saw" was moralistic and lacked gore. If it had some puzzles at least - that could work, theoretically. But it does not. It's a bunch of people stuck in 1 room for an hour, and the way for them to exit is... To talk. And through talking improve themselves by confessing their sins and/or forgiving someone. Does not work, really, since even the dialogues are of quite a poor quality. Can work as a white noise, but nothing more.
