It's good. If you liked original series, you will like this one as well. Same level of brutality and "raw"... Stuff. Like, in general. It also has a proper development of multiple story-lines, which big-screen MCU lacks nowadays. I think that may be a good reason to switch to TV series by default even.
It would work with comics better. Tell multiple separate stories in separate TV series, with periodic crossovers/cameos, and then at some point connect them with a movie, when it's something really big. Kind of like Arrowverse did, I guess. At the least TV shows provide more opportunities of exploring characters and concepts and doing flashbacks and playing with narrative.
The important question, though, is... Who is better: trump of Fisk (if he was president)? Who would you vote for and why?
