Ilya's art style is good, but in the movie the animation felt a bit "choppy" at times for some reason, which took away portion of the appeal. The overall premise is ok and people do like this stuff, but the characters "change" pretty abruptly, feels like it's done for the sake of moving the plot ahead and keeping it "brighter" and shorter. Some minor plot lines get dropped a bit sudden (or not even picked up properly), too with little to no consequences. Music is something I have no complaints with, although I can't say it's "memorable". It suits the movie and helps it have a "wider" scene.

Overall I think this would be better as a short TV series (12-13 episodes, perhaps). It would have allowed to flesh out characters and their backgrounds a bit more, explore the "setting" of the story in detail. So, can't say I "recommend" it. It's ok to watch, overall production quality is good, but it still could be way "more".
