Could this be the healing anime of the season?

I guess, technically, Zutaboro is also about healing, since Marie is saved from abusive parents, but somehow that show feels less relatable despite being in a more realistic and grounded setting. Or maybe this is because Monica is probably autistic, and that makes it more relatable for me personally?

Don't know, but it looks cute, feels wholesome, and... Actually has a plot. Like actual plot, with intrigue, and character development, and that kind of stuff. Comparing to Zutaboro again, but I expect that one to be more about daily life, and whatever danger will be there, will be superficial at best. Here, even though it was established, that Monica is one of the strongest witches, I still am getting a feeling that there will be something that will pose danger even to her.

In the 2 episodes there was not anything obvious, though. I guess just some little details suggest that some big things may be happening, and that the 2nd prince may not be a target even, but more like a nuisance for some "5th column" or whatever. Yet that does not overshadow the cute moments with Monica, which probably was not easy to balance. Especially considering the "bully" parody, which adds an extra touch of humor here.

What was the issue with her having braids? At least my understanding was that the other girl implied that braids are bad, and hair should be done differently. Was it just not in fashion or is there something else there?
