You know it's going to be bad, when within 2 minutes they claim that Stark would not be Stark if he was not a billionaire. I mean this contradicts the meme, let alone the actual fact of him being more than just a billionaire.
Really poor design of the error handling in the suit: the way she crashed implies, that whenever something goes wrong with the software she can easily die. Iron Man suite probably also had issues like that, but this suit was being built for students, so shouldn't their safety be a priority? And why would it even eject part of the mask because of this? This did not make sense. As a lot of other minor things, because no one really was trying to make an effort to make this believable in the slightest.
Worst offender is Riri herself: she is just a brat, that I, personally, can't relate to, or even sympathize with. She disses Stark and then a few hours later says, that she would not comment on him at all. She steals the suit, which did not belong to her. Heck, she got a great opportunity to be in this "super cool university", and she blows it up completely, as if that's just something meaningless for her, as if that's not part of the money, she is looking for.
Controversial take, though: can it be that Marvel/Disney did this intentionally to show the bad side of forced inclusivity? You know, when someone gets some privilege because of being oppressed in some way, and then start demanding even more privileges? I doubt it, because it does not look like there are that many consequences for Riri... On the other hand there are not that many consequences for people like her in real life, so... But again, unlikely, it's uncommon for media to raise this topic even.
Anyway, this show felt bad. Dialogues are worse than She-Hulk or that other one... The one with Fury? I can't even remember its name, that's how bad it was. Pacing is not helping any character development, either. Hood looked extremely lame. Oh, and what did make Riri so "cool", too? What was special about her? Just some semblance of a brain? Not worth the time wasted on just 1 episode even.
