This show reminded me of one that I watched when I was a kid. It was Canadian show "Inquiring Minds", educational one, about various stuff. Not really the same concept as this anime, of course, but still. Essentially we have a girl that's trying to have a slightly more realistic but still as obnoxious hair as the blonde from Rock Wa Lady, and is a nerd. The nerd part is important, because she is explaining how things work to an alien cat with a zipper on its back. It may work for some kids, I guess, but it probably would have worked better with more humor, I guess. It is there, but it's kind of meh. Perhaps even a more serious tone would have worked better, too. Either way, not for me.
