Kind of pointless. Reminded me of that Batou filler in Bleach. Somewhat fits the original series, but the fitting is a bit forced, and it does not move neither the story nor the characters anywhere. Especially, considering the ending of the movie. A cash-grab, but I am not even sure anyone needed this movie. A set of OVAs with fan-service would even make more sense, IMHO.
