Having been a very self-possessed and indepedent Keeper since she was just a slip of a kit, Zahra struck out on her own at an unusually young age for her insular people, much to the dismay of her Matriarch mother. She was too drawn towards the workings of the universe to remain in the dark, deep forests for long. Although she still loved them dearly, she left the familiarity of the trees to dive into the life-long studies of an Arcanist, vigorously seeking mentors and knowledge, traveling all over so she could see with her own eyes as well as read about them in her books.
During these travels she became enraptured by the wild, and not-so, ways of the Beast Tribes, their culture and history the only thing so far that has been able to draw her interest from aether. Her time was split, studying the universe and some of its less popular inhabitants, and great swathes of time were spent far from home.
With new roads opening up to distant lands, Zahra is ever captivated at the thought of new knowledge and peoples, employing her expert aether manipulation to get her where she needs to go, peacefully or not.
