A forbidden love was shared between a brave warrior of the Moon and a runaway lady of the Sun. One epoch past the time of their deaths by the flames of Bahamut, their child arrives in Eorzea to seek the land and its people which they gave their lives to protect.
Or so says the subject of today’s Gridania Highlight, N’tella Jaako.
Our editors at Gridania Daily had the chance to sit down with Ms. Jaako, an adventurer from Midgardsormr. After she gave us a puppet show demonstration of her backstory, we gave her the opportunity to tell us more about her everyday life, as well as to clear up any “misconceptions” the public may have about her.
N’tella explained that fellow adventurers who welcomed her to Eorzea influenced her to pick up a number of eccentricities, which she calls “fun habits.” Most notable is a year-long practice of the festivities of All Saint’s Wake. Although she ordinarily takes the appearance of a musical performer, her “true form” is that of a “witch.”
N’tella aimed to clear up any misconceptions regarding the costume during our face-to-face interview. “It’s not a costume, honest,” she said as she scratched her nose, eyes darting around the room. “I actually made it myself. In Witch school.” This particular outfit is identical to one that can be purchased from a Gil’ler General’s All Saint’s Eve catalog.
N’tella has obsessive tendencies, such as “friendly”, although oftentimes uninvited head-patting. “I’m indiscriminate,” she said, before changing the subject.
She also participates in almost every single FATE that she can find, because she wants to “get the title for 1,000 FATES.”
Because of her unhealthy habits, N’tella‘s thirst may never be fully quenched. Scientific and psychical experts predict that shall the destruction of all of Hydaelyn someday arrive, it may in fact be the indirect fault of this young Miqo’te woman’s head-patting expeditions.
“Everybody dreams of a cute girl in an idol outfit walking up and patting them on the head,” N’tella responded when asked for comment. “I’m pretty sure. Yeah.”
After our interview, a warrant was issued for her arrest by the Order of the Twin Adder. N’tella Jaako’s whereabouts are currently unknown.
