Kazuya is an Au'Ra samurai enlisted within the Free Company known as the Will o' Whispers, who also practices alchemy and various healing magics. Rather stoic in his demeanour, he can often come across as aloof, cold, or standoffish, when in reality he is just quietly observing the world and people around him.
While he doesn't revere the Twelve the way that the Eorzeans do, he does hold some respect for the idea of certain deities, particularly Nophica the Matron.
