Slug Bugg has traveled to many lands far and wide. This mute Galka, I mean "Roegadyn", started his adventures in Vana'diel with his sister, Pileya. One day they both got whisked away via a Carnivorous Maw, while trying to travel to the past, and ended up in Eorzea. He and his sister had been adapting to this new world and her troubles every since.
No one is sure why Slug is mute. Some speculate that Shinalia, a member of his party, may know, but nothing ever seems to make sense coming from her. Either is be by choice or natural, it adds a mystery to this gentle giant.
