Many years ago a young girl was found amid the wreckage of a vessel off the coast of Limsa Lominsa. Once revived she proved too traumatized to tell anyone who she was or where she had come from. any who remember the little girl who spent the next year running the high walks and failing to find a place for her self would never believe she grew up to be Daveena Qertulos. Daveena eventually found her way in to a traveling caravan and from them learned several trades. When the caravan came to Gridania she found peace in the twelveswood and stayed to make a living selling her services as a carpenter, cook, and seamstress.
She never talks about her home or family, always gently deflecting questions and keeping the focus on others. She is known around the city for having a gentle heart and always being willing to accept barter for her work. While she seems content to be a mystery some have noted her polite mannerisms and apparent knowledge of social protocol likely notes her as nobility or closely tied to it. She is always happy to listen to the theories, ranging from the lost princess of an island nation to a Garlean in exile. She will listen, laugh, and just shake her head. From time to time when she thinks no one is watching she can be caught staring distantly to the west with a look of loss and fear in her eyes.
