Felt inconsistent. The beginning of 1st episode had some random pop song playing over infiltration sequence, and felt out of place. Used comic bubbles earlier in the 1st episode, as well, but then seemingly stopped using those. Which is, probably, good, because they also felt out of place, but why even bother with them, if you are not going to use them consistently? It also feels like Gear and Bear are like Fullmetal Alchemist brothers, especially since bear is 4 years old and they have similar size difference, and Gear's facial animation is very much like Ed's.
So 1st episode felt inconsistent and a bit of a mess, but it seemed to be preparing the ground for the main story-telling. Poorly, but maybe 2nd episode picks up better? Yeah... It just went full-on crazy. Looks like it will be a Twisted Metal kind of anime, where it's more about insane, stupid, insanely stupid and stupidly insane characters with little substance. And, I guess, in Mad Max-like setting at some point or some times? Not my thing, for sure.
