APPEARANCE & BACKGROUND:
Standing taller than most males of his tribe, Rihn’a Tayuun – or Colson Jaeger as he has adopted – is a rather imposing figure. Bearing a striking resemblance to his father, Colson is pale of skin with painstakingly etched war paint of a deep indigo colouring along his jaw line and outlining his odd-coloured silver and blue eyes. His hair as black as a raven’s wing is tipped with streaks of cobalt, a result of his merging with a sentient dragon while in his youth.
Although battle hardened, Colson Jaeger has nary a blemish upon him. His face is gently sculpted, giving him the appearance of a marbled statue rather than a hardened warrior. His high cheek bones, chiseled jaw, straight nose, and full lips make him quite the envy of the other males in his tribe, not to mention brought him the unwanted attention of many of the females.
Having been raised in the far reaches of Coerthas in the land of Abalathia’s Spine, Colson developed his skills as a fighter. He trained for hours with the males of his clan, namely his father and the fathers of the five other males in his small community. Not being one to be idle, Colson always found time to wander through the woods and mountainous regions of the Spine which helped to harden, sculpt and firm his physique. Although nocturnal, Colson began to gradually adjust to the light of day, limiting his vulnerability to the daylight hours; he does, however, prefer the cover of night, believing – like many other Keepers – that the lunar rays enhance his natural abilities.
During an assault by the Ishgardians against the dragons, Colson’s clan was caught in the crossfire, nearly losing their homes & their lives. All but Colson’s youngest sister got away unscathed, she was a casualty of war. As a result Colson vowed to become stronger and end the needless slaughter of the innocent.
